Office space blues...

Loving this combination of the light raw timber against deep sea blue walls... And of course I can only dream of an office space so well organised...

At home with Kate Spade and the fam...

A squiz inside the digs of Kate Spade? Yes please! Not what I expected. Take a look...
Let's start with the most relevant room in the house - Kate's daughter, Bea's room...

Bea and dad, Andy, hugging it up in the living room...

Lots of love in this house - a nice feature...

The whole place is verging on cluttered with incredible art. Loving the big black inky splodge over the fireplace...

Gallery Hall...

The heart of the home...

Nice blue leather chair Kate! Such a Kate Spade colour...

More incredible art...
But if that's not enough for you, check out The Selby for the full tour with loads more pics of her enviable collections. Did you know that David Spade from Just Shoot Me is actually Kate's brother-in-law? And that Kate was working at Mademoiselle magazine when she launched her first range of what were to be become iconic handbags? I didn't know either of those things...

Black boards on the floors

My decorexic ways, it seems, have struck again. Lately I'm finding myself fighting the overwhelming urge to buy an industrial-sized serving of Black Japan and wreak havoc on my floors. You see, my floorboards are not of my choosing. They're the knottiest pine I've ever seen and I spend my days double-checking ever black oval shape isn't the dead cockroach it appears to be... So, what's stopping me? The sheer amount of work involved.... That and the lack of budget to hand the job over to a tradey. But I thought I'd share a few inspirational shots so you can lust over the black boards with me...

little pink clouds of goodness...

Remember my post floaty fluffy fings? Well, if you love a pompom, you're definitely going to go ga-ga over these. Handmade from tulle these pink delights are like clouds of pure perfection. They're from the home of Florence Rolando, children's fashion and design specialist and contributor to Milk Magazine. Her whole house is filled with design elements of the playful variety which strikes a chord very close to my heart. Have a look at her whole home here.
