Paint it black

Yummy isn't it? This single image has me wanting to repaint every door in the house!
Seriously! So much more depth and atmosphere than cold white doors...

j'adore!

Ways with greys

The yellow cast that reflects off the horrid pine floor boards in my living room is really bothering me today. I haven't the time or inclination to do anything about them right now. So instead I dream of a palette of whites and greys...

Seeing green x 16

Here are 16 beautiful spaces that use green as a focal point. And why not? In each of the rooms below it gives a vibrant pop of fresh and natural colour that leaves the viewer feeling rejuvenated. Research even shows that it's relaxing and calming which is why TV shows use green rooms for their guests to wait in. See if has that effect on you - either way, I'm sure you'll start thinking about how you can add it to your own home...

7 Great high colour kids zones

Grey is my favourite, and black is so striking, white always looks so clean and fresh and pure... but what a kid wants is colour. And lots of it. Here are 7 great kids rooms that pack a punch in the palette department and will get the thumbs up from 9 out of 10 kids out there.

Green with envy

This room is clearly going to be a winner no matter what you do with it. The light is incredible and those windows - well, as far as windows go, for me an old school set of sashes beats just about anything else going.... So it's no surprise that this space would be wonderful. But aside from all those pluses, the palette these owners have chosen is lovely. Raw timber, pale grey and fresh green accents. Don't you feel the peace just looking at it?

Classic Combo: Black & White

This combination is timeless. It's classic, sophisticated and versatile. It can be dramatic or calming depending how it's applied and it's definitely my favourite.

Black to basics

It's rare that I find a good example of black in a kids space, but being one of my favourite things, it's great when I do. Imagine how nothing this room would be if that wall were white...

Furnish it in RED

Looking for a gender neutral option? A pop of colour? Something that'll jazz up your old wardrobe?
The answer is RED...
