Finders Keepers...

It's that time of year again - The Finders Keepers Markets are on this weekend in Sydney at the Carriageworks - and what a pretty poster! It sums up the market perfectly with it's vintage vibe, illustration-ey, layery, happy thing going on. If you've never been (and I actually haven't!) here's your chance. I'll be there scouting the stalls for the perfect gift for my incredible girlfriend's milestone birthday this weekend (nothing like leaving it till the last minute...) I'll also be scouting for some inspirational finds to bring to you over the coming weeks! Maybe I'll see you there? Ooh, and before I forget - check out their blog as well!

Salvation Jane - A new favourite

Familiar? Actor, Jane Hall can now add "blogger" to her list of achievements. It's a lovely place to visit and is fast becoming one of my faves. Salvation Jane is all about making your digs homely, colourful and personal without spending your next months salary. 

Jane's home was recently featured in Real Living (another personal favourite) and her style is charmingly warm and eclectic. 

Another reason to visit is her projects. This is the Love Heart Wall Jane created for her daughter Miss L's bedroom (who she says wishes her mother would stop redecorating her room!). You need to stop by Salvation Jane and have a read. I think I might love her.

As we tend to do with our first child, I spent a lot of time with Hugh when he was little, teaching him his colours, his shapes, and of course - the alphabet... Not so much with Noah. Funnily enough I haven't the time! But one thing I have found, is that a set of these are super handy. Not only are they useful for wee ones, but they come back into their own at pre-school age when kiddos start learning to put letters and sounds together and they want to start figuring out how to spell phonetically.
